The height of this mountain is supposed to be 20,029 feet high or 8.848 meters high.  Although Mount Everest is known as the highest mountain, above sea level, records also show other tall mountains on Earth. It is declared that when measured from base, Mauna Kea in Hawaii is considered to be the tallest mountain- 10,200 m from base but only 4,205 m above sea level. One such route is from the southeast ridge from Nepal and the other is the northeast ridge from Tibet, these 2 routes are mostly referred by formers. A number count of over 4000 (or even more than 4000) people attempted to climb Mt. Everest till date. From these attempts only 660 people have been succeeded.
